Introduction
HOPE ON FOUNDATION (HOF) is a non-political, non-profit organization committed to the development of the community.
HOPE ON FOUNDATION was registered in Delhi under the Societies Registration Act (XXI) of 1860 on 22nd May 2013, by a group of professionals who shared a common dream to work on a mission for the improvement of the unprivileged plights of men, women and children in India by connecting the dots and bridging the gap between theory, policy and practice.
Our Objective
We are working for the upliftment of children, women and men including Old Age, Destitute or Orphan and Handicapped for the underprivileged people. We have taken the responsibility to fulfil the mission of our organisation and developed a motto to tie our mission & activities in one thread:
हर हाथ को काज, हर घर को अनाज ||
बच्चा-बच्ची को शिक्षा समान, स्त्री-पुरुष को मिले सम्मान ||
Hope On Foundation has done various activities like Amenities distributions, Colony development (lane, drainage & plantation), Awareness Programmes, Education, Skill livelihood training and other activities
What we do
Working for Child Development/Education
Hope On Foundation supports the campaign:
"पढ़ेगा इंडिया, तभी तो बढ़ेगा इंडिया" and our motto "हर बच्चा-बच्ची को शिक्षा समान";
Going ahead with it Hope On Foundation works for the economic and social empowerment of unprivileged children in the slums across Delhi or different states of India. We are committed to working for the children's Education, Literacy, Nutrition, Safety and help them to realise their true potential.
Working for Men & Women upliftment
Hope On Foundation supports the campaign and our motto:
"हर हाथ को काज" and "स्त्री-पुरुष को मिले सम्मान";
Hope On Foundation actively working for the upliftment of women from the unprivileged community.
We are actively working on their Health, Education, Legal Support and Livelihood.
Working for Destitute Elderly persons
Hope On Foundation working for the destitute elderly person in the slum, isolated homes, across Delhi and other states of India. These elderly have been abandoned by their families or isolated, we provide them Meals, Medical Facilities, arranging Shelters and enabling Government Schemes.

Ms. Kakoli Roy
Founder
Ms. Kakoli, the Founder of Hope On Foundation since 2013, has dedicated the past 16 years of her life to serving the NGO sector and bringing about positive change in the community. Her work spans a wide range of social issues, including Women's Empowerment, Human Trafficking, Prisoner's Rights, Community Development, Health, Self-Help Groups, and Education of Children and Women etc.
With a passion for ensuring the legal rights of individuals, Ms. Kakoli visited and inspected 21 state prisons across India. During these visits, she personally interacted with over 600 inmates, striving to provide them with the necessary support and information to secure their rights within the prison system. Additionally, she has been instrumental in rescuing and repatriating more than 1500 survivors of trafficking, providing them with the assistance and care they need to rebuild their lives.
Her commitment also extends to helping underprivileged children and women in various slums of Delhi, where she has positively impacted the lives of over 10000 individuals through education, livelihood, awareness, rescue and rehabilitation.
Prior to establishing Hope On Foundation, Ms. Kakoli worked with esteemed organizations such as the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) and the "Stop Trafficking and Oppression of Children and Women" (Ramola Bhar Charitable Trust) in Delhi. Her experience in these organizations further strengthened her expertise and dedication to social causes.
Ms. Kakoli's contributions go beyond her direct work with NGOs. She serves as an External Member of the Sexual Harassment Committee at Digitup Solutions Pvt. Ltd., ensuring a safe and inclusive work environment. Additionally, she has served as a Board Member of the "Stop Trafficking and Oppression of Children and Women" (Ramola Bhar Charitable Trust) in Delhi, further amplifying her impact in the field. Furthermore, Ms. Kakoli's leadership extends to being the President of the self-help group 'KOSHISH'
Recognized for her expertise, Ms. Kakoli has been invited by various domestic and international forums in Sweden, Bangladesh, and Nepal to represent her organization and share its ideology on a global platform.
Ms. Roy's outstanding contributions and relentless efforts in raising menstrual awareness and combating menstrual injustice have not gone unnoticed. She has been nominated and certified for the prestigious Vedana Awards, organized by SarkariSchool and WeCitizens Foundation. This recognition is a testament to her dedication and commitment to this important cause.
In addition to her work in menstrual awareness, Ms. Roy has also been acknowledged and certified by the Delhi Government as a Corona Warrior for her remarkable efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her exceptional work and contributions have made a significant impact on the community and have been recognized by the authorities.
Being a co-authored a niche report has been published "Report- Key to Transparency - Your Guide to using the Right to Information Act, 2005 to collect data about Indian Prisons (CHRI)".
Through her unwavering dedication, Ms. Kakoli continues to inspire change and make a significant difference in the lives of countless individuals and communities.

I also made some wonderful documentaries for different NGOs. Ms. Arpita Roy presently working with Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India as Procurement Specialist. Over 23 years of experience she was worked in various State Governments. including Bihar, Odisha, M.P., Rajasthan, UP, Haryana, & Maharashtra for United Nations, World Bank, Global Fund, USAID, DFID, BMGF, Government of Norway etc. as Public Procurement & Project Management Specialist.
